Teardrop warehouse pallet racks suitable for 40"x48" US standard pallets is the most common type of pallet racking used in warehouse storage and distribution centers across the United States. Teardrop pallet racking is another name for roll-formed selective pallet racking, which is commonly manufactured in the teardrop style (nicknamed because the holes in the uprights are shaped like teardrops).

The tray then rests on a horizontal load beam, held in place by mounting clips. As the clips on the teardrop configuration can be quickly removed, the shelves can be adjusted to different heights or reinforced to carry different weights to suit different load sizes.
